PRINTS


The vast majority of my photos are available as greeting cards and both mounted & unmounted giclée prints. All are printed in-house on a Canon professional grade printer, utilising pigment inks for incredibly high print quality, fade resistance and longevity.


Greeting cards are A5 sized (148mm x 210mm) unless otherwise stated and printed on stiff 300gsm Pearlescent hi-white paper for excellent colour reproduction. Blank inside for your message and supplied with envelope, in retail-ready cellophane bags.


Unmounted giclée prints are available as standard in either A4 (210mm x 297mm) or A3 (297mm x 420mm) sizes and are edge-to-edge printed on acid-free, archival grade 280gsm fine art Baryta paper. The resulting prints have a light lustre finish that works well for framing behind glass. Prints exhibit extremely accurate colour reproduction, contrast and clarity and, under normal conditions, will last a lifetime (80+ years) . Other sizes and paper options are available on request.


Mounted giclée prints are, as the name suggests, mounted versions of prints, ready to frame. Currently available in A5 (148mm x 210mm) and A4 (210mm x 297mm) print sizes as standard, with A3 available on request. High quality, archival grade, acid-free mount boards, backing sheets and tape are used to resist discolouration and fading. Prints are mounted using the 'T-hinge' method to prevent any slight rippling or buckling that may occur with changes in temperature and humidity. As standard, mount boards are a light cream/off white colour, with a white core (ie. the exposed edge around the print aperture is white, to provide contrast). A5 prints are supplied mounted on 10" x 8" boards and A4 prints are supplied mounted on 14" x 11" boards - this allows easy framing into standard 'off the shelf' frames.


  • Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) prints are museum-grade fine art reproductions created using specialized high-resolution inkjet printers, pigment-based archival inks, and acid-free papers. This gold-standard printing technique is favoured by galleries, artists and collectors for its exceptional colour accuracy, detail and fade-resistance. Giclée prints have a lifetime of at least 80 years.
